'S time to stir the pot, so to speak. While other companies and perhaps some of your competitors VAR in a panic or sitting back waiting for something positive will happen with the economy, it's time for you to accelerate. And I mean step forward. No longer with the marketing tactics in the best way. Forget about pulling out of the marketing plan last year and "fine tuning". And if you think that your client calls you and says, "Just tell me for what I ordered last year," forgetit. There's a new world out there in this down economy.

But retailers who are innovative thinkers and creative way to make the business plan in 2009 and beyond will be those who will thrive for years to come. As you may have with your customers in a different way to connect in the past? How are your customers are other companies these days? The answers are in your way of thinking again. Customers today show a variety of payment optionsBehavior than in the past. You are faced with challenges that have solutions. Enter your solutions. It will not be able to solve their problems with obsolete methods. How do you want your own set inside so that it has positive effects for your customers? Now is the time to "Get Busy" and probably for the first time put the thinking cap for real time - like your life depends on it, because it works.

So some of these ideas that you can startToday:

o Make a table goals. Now is the time to the task (s) at hand for maximum effectiveness and efficiency to stay focused. Hang dry to remove a shelf in your office. Mark spaces for short-term goals (weekly, monthly) and long-term (quarterly, yearly). Make sure they are measurable. For example, not a goal to "add more customers." Get more precise: "add 10 new customers during the next month." With your goals measurable, it is never a question whether they are replaced inMeet. Treat yourself to goals in each category. Make a list of five things you can do today to move closer to realizing these desires. What you need to stay on task and meet - or beat! - These objectives?
or call five customers. The best source of new revenue and a better understanding of market trends and business comes from existing customers. Today get five - all five. Call all. Discover their activities. That work? What is selling well? What does not? Identify a needYou can address (either directly on the spot, or a little 'homework for them and again). Find a problem can be solved. Then solve.
O Survey your customers. If you know what do your customers need, and do not always want to ask! Please call five of your regular customers now and ask them what they would like to see added or improved on your website. "How can our site be more valuable and useful to you?" Then call five customers who were dropped from the radar, and ask whatdo for them again! They are all seriously waiting for your interest. And you can unlock the answer, how to change their business model during this down economy - and then you can change with them.

Talk orTheir suppliers. You are not alone in your company. It can - and should - rely on your suppliers to support sales. At least once every three months to achieve your suppliers and discover the resources, ideas and actions are ready for you. Check to offer additional training to help sell their products more effectively. Ask about special offers (gifts, bonuses, discounts, bundle), you can use to increase sales in the next quarter. These are your partners, people, soJobs!
Remember to use or a brilliant idea better value to customers. What would your customers get up and a new look for your business? The answer in principle is to exceed their expectations. You give them that without asking them the value for it. Add convenience to their lives. What can you entice your customers with something of value, which offer a good return on investment? If you do not try, you can 'lose those competitors who are in theseAdvice. And you will miss the tremendous value that the viral word-of-mouth advertising that goes with the expectations of your customers!

These ideas are really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to "think ahead". It must promote themselves to be innovative, to think and act differently in fact new and unique way. Your customers will take note. Your extra effort will show that you are truly interested in how this recession is affecting them, - andthat going to do something to help.
